Today will be a much quieter today across the country. Light rain and snow showers will be scattered all over the Northeast today but nothing like yesterday’s thunderstorms and severe weather. Some minor accumulations in the higher elevations of Upstate NY and New England are expected, and the flakes could fly as far south as West Virginia and Virginia. And that’s no April Fools!
If you are going to be in Florida this weekend, HEADS UP! This is not the weekend to be there. Cold front and storm system approaches Saturday afternoon and evening with a round of thunderstorms for the state, some of which will be severe. Heads up Orlando!
Next week the “mid-week” severe weather threat is back for the third week in a row! Starts in Texas Monday, Mississippi Valley Tuesday, Georgia, Florida and the Carolinas Wednesday, Mid-Atlantic and Northeast on Thursday. Wait a second, was that just like last week? The week before? Yup. Just remember April showers bring May flowers!
